​IdaBoss Dog Training is about setting your dog up to succeed using only Positive Force Free methods. We focus on rewarding the behaviors that we want from our dogs and helping them win at that. Much like children if we just focus on the negative, they will likely never learn what the positive looks like. Our aim is to show them what the positive and the desired behaviors are and keep the focus on them, rather than the behaviours we don't want. We are passionate about enriching you with the knowledge to get the best out of your furry friend to ensure you have a happy and respectful relationship together.

We can help you & your dog with a wide range of issues; from general manners to reactive behavioural management and complex tricks.

We train all dog breeds with special expertise in Rottweilers.

Every dog can learn new things, dogs over 2 may just take a little bit longer than impressionable pups. Consistency is key to ensuring dogs of all ages learn the behaviors that you want them to display.

We train with U-Chews treats and Black Dog & Dog Copenhagen equipment. You can find everything that we use available to purchase in our online store.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance by calling or texting 0405 365 572. If you cancel after payment has been received, a $10 administration fee will apply. Cancellations made without the required 48-hour notice will incur a processing fee of 50% of your booking cost. You can reschedule your appointment once at no cost; however, any additional rescheduling will incur a $50 administration fee. Please note that the rescheduling fee does not apply to on-lead walks. Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds for change of mind. Once sessions have commenced, no refunds will be issued. Thank you for your understanding!

For returns and exchanges, the item must still be in an unused condition and must be returned within 14 days of purchase. All returns are at buyers expense including shipping costs and any additional fees. Please email idabossdogtraining@gmail.com with your name, item & order number.

Family Dog Mediators work to improve, enrich and advocate for dogs through welfare and education regarding the needs of dogs as individuals breeds, previous learning experiences and genetics. Mediators use the L.E.G.S model – Learning, Environment, Genetics and Self to help find the balance between dogs and their families.

A Virtual Training Session is a live video call with one of our expert Trainers to discuss your training needs - it's just like an in-person session, just online instead!

No. You do not have to be a NDIS participant to train an assistance dog. In fact, most of our assistance dog customers are private.

No. We no longer host puppy preschool. We found that private 1:1 in home training sessions were more beneficial to our customers and their dogs. Therefore, we have introduced the "puppy potential pack" (You can find this by clicking on the services tab on our website) which encompasses similar training plans similar to puppy preschool.
